Jack McDiarmid joined Rob Millar in the Calgary office in 1995 after five years in the Montrose Winnipeg office. Together, Rob and Jack have expanded the office to its present size.
Rob and Jack focus on commercial and industrial mortgage loans secured by income producing real estate. Together they have over 35 years of real estate lending experience with a Canadian life insurance company, chartered banks and with Montrose.
Neil Foran is a graduate of the University of Manitoba where he received his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree. He has over 11 years of experience in commercial real estate and mortgage lending. Neil entered the commercial real estate industry in 1992 with one of Canada's largest commercial real estate brokerage firms where he specialized in Investment Sales. Since joining Montrose (Calgary) in 1996, Neil has been involved in all aspects of commercial mortgage financing, including origination, underwriting and loan structuring, negotiation and funding. His experience includes both construction and term mortgage financings secured by conventional income-producing office, industrial and retail real estate, and he has represented both private and institutional borrowers and lenders.
Kris Heron joined Montrose in 2002. Kris brings with him a finance degree from the University of Saskatchewan and three years financial experience with a national investment company. Kris assists in the mortgage origination process for the Calgary office.
Laura Klein joined Montrose in December of 1998, after working for more than twelve years with diversified experience in the British Columbia mining industry. Laura is responsible for all aspects of office administration.
