The Montrose Calgary office was established in 1987 and is now comprised of four Principals who have extensive experience originating and underwriting mortgages on commercial and multi-family properties. These Principals have completed numerous high-profile transactions on shopping centres, office buildings, and industrial properties, as well as condominium and multi-family assets.

The Key People are:

	Dale Anda, RI, CRF, CPM-Principal, has over twenty five years of combined experience with Montrose Mortgage and Canada Mortgage and Housing. His specialty is multi-family residential in the areas of Underwriting, Default management and Real Estate. In addition, he has had direct experience with portfolio mortgage insurance. Dale was the centre manager, multi family underwriting for the CMHC Prairie region prior to joining Montrose Mortgage. Dale is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada and holds a CRF and CPM designation and belongs to numerous trade associations. Email \| Vcard
	Carl Knells, BBA-Principal, has been with Montrose Mortgage since 1996. During that time he has worked almost exclusively in the underwriting of multi-family residential property. This includes conventional and CMHC insured construction loans for both rental and condominium project and term financing for rental property, seniors housing, and care facilities. Prior to 1996 Carl worked for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation at various locations, including their Head Office, in management positions in Policy, Social Housing and Underwriting. Carl has a Commerce degree from UBC and an Economics degree from Simon Fraser. Carl is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada. and belongs to numerous trade associations. Email \| Vcard
	R.J. (Jack) McDiarmid, MBA-Principal. After graduating with a MBA (Finance) degree in 1978, Jack gained experience in direct real estate lending with the Mercantile and National Banks in Calgary, Vancouver, and Winnipeg, before joining the Montrose Winnipeg office in 1990. Jack relocated to Calgary from the Winnipeg office in 1995 to actively grow the Calgary operations and has been integral in the growth of that office and market penetration in Alberta since that time. 	Greg Clayton, B.Com-Principal, completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree from the University of Calgary in 2005. Prior to joining Montrose Calgary in 2008, he worked with the commercial lending group of a Schedule I bank and was a partner in a general construction business. Greg is currently completing the dissertation for his MBA (Finance) and serves on the board of directors for the AIDS Calgary Awareness Association.
